Narrative:

Took off with lady and small child, about 2 yrs old. Little girl did not want to go. Cried at the least little movement. Flew at 2000' MSL till straight in approach. To minimize movement, set up long shallow approach. Did not see white poles or aluminum power line at approach end of runway. The power line was not idented with balls. I feel that all wires within 300' of runway should be marked so any pilot using the airport can see them. After striking wire, continued to land approximately 25' past threshold. Shut down engine with nose high rollout. Checked nose of airplane. Wire struck at landing light, bent lower cowling, exhaust pipe, muffler and carburetor heat box.
