Narrative:

During pre-flight; while testing the rudder trim; it binds when you turn it to the left. Also seems to be binding up against the aileron trim wheel. Found autopilot control wire bundle tangled in rudder aileron trim asymmetry shafts. Removed aileron rudder trim asymmetry from pedestal and untangled wire bundle. Installed rudder aileron trim assembly in accordance with (iwa) cessna 560XL MM. Rudder and aileron trim operate normal.

Title: While troubleshooting a flight crew report of Rudder-Aileron Trim wheel binding on a CE-560XL; an Aircraft Maintenance Inspector finds the Autopilot Control wire bundle tangled in the Rudder-Aileron Trim Assembly vertical shafts; inside the aft end of the cockpit Center pedestal. Inspector questions if a Task Card for inspecting the routing and security of wire bundles and tie-wraps had been accomplished.
