Narrative:
On 9/X/89, at XX30Z, I was working sector 92. On initial contact I climbed air carrier X to 14,000' and issued a 030 degree heading around VFR traffic. Air carrier X called traffic in sight and advised he was turning further right to avoid the VFR aircraft. Upon completion of his turn he advised me he would be filing a near midair collision report.
