I was the #2 (X) aircraft in a flight of 2. At approximately 35 mi northeast of shv VOR, I saw an medium large transport Z approaching head-on. I went into a dive to avoid the medium large transport Z. I reported this to my leader, who never saw the medium large transport Z.
