Narrative:

Ind approach has 2 frequencys, 1 of which is 119.3. We are constantly getting blocked xmissions on the frequency because of aircraft talking to grand rapids on the safe frequency. Aircraft tell us that somebody talking to grand rapids blocked our transmission. 1 of the frequencys has to be changed before a worse problem arises. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: the reporter said this problem has been ongoing in the facility. On a recent fam flight he discussed the blocked transmission problem with the pilot and the pilot said it was grr tower that was blocking ind approach control on frequency 119.3. The controller reported the problem to the supervisor and was advised to file an ASRS report.

ACFT TELL US THAT SOMEBODY TALKING TO GRAND RAPIDS BLOCKED OUR XMISSION. 1 OF THE FREQS HAS TO BE CHANGED BEFORE A WORSE PROB ARISES. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING: THE RPTR SAID THIS PROB HAS BEEN ONGOING IN THE FAC. ON A RECENT FAM FLT HE DISCUSSED THE BLOCKED XMISSION PROB WITH THE PLT AND THE PLT SAID IT WAS GRR TWR THAT WAS BLOCKING IND APCH CTL ON FREQ 119.3. THE CTLR RPTED THE PROB TO THE SUPVR AND WAS ADVISED TO FILE AN ASRS RPT.
