Narrative:

We were given the hushi departure from ewr. As we were turning from 190 degrees toward 220 degrees, as depicted on the SID, we were given a 240 degree heading and continue climb to 6000'. As we were rolling out on 240 degrees heading we were given left turn to 190 degrees to intercept col 350 degree right to col. I was putting col in the FMS and 350 degree right when the captain overshot 6000' by approximately 330'. He had caught his overshoot at 6000' but went to 6330' before descent back to 6000' was begun. No comment to or from ATC was made.
