Narrative:

After landing on 27L; taxiing in eastbound on B approaching A6; an rj on J almost hit us as it approached A6 from our 5 o'clock position. It didn't even slow as we converged. I could not see it from that direction and was unaware of its proximity until the first officer said 'stop! This guy is close!'. It passed by about 10 feet by our starboard bow. Queried ground control and was told the rj was supposed to follow us.
