Narrative:

This does not involve any deviation; but is a comment on slc sids. The wevic 3 and edeth 2 RNAV departures both have numerous airspeed and altitude restrictions which are always countermanded by ATC controllers shortly after takeoff. This takes one pilot out of the game either typing in or deleting altitudes and/or airspeeds. If the procedure does not work for ATC flow; please redesign it so it does.published sids routinely modified causing high workload for monitoring pilot.
