Narrative:
During initial climb; shortly after slat retraction with autopilot #2 on; the airplane yawed hard to the right. The autopilot compensated with spoilers 7; 6; and 5 extended and 6 units to the left. The captain then assumed control of the airplane. After consulting the QRH; the captain elected to declare an emergency and return for an overweight landing.

Title: During initial climb with autopilot engaged; an Airbus flight crew experiences a hard right yaw which the autopilot compensates for with left aileron trim. The aircraft was leveled and it was noted that spoilers 7; 6 and 5 were up. The autopilot is disengaged and shortly after the spoiler panels retract and the flight returns to the departure airport.
