Narrative:
Qxu radar site has been turned off for many days. Aircraft X was conducting a photo mission VFR/040. He was constantly dropping into and out of radar contact. Aircraft Y was landing N66 and requesting lower to do a visual approach. I lost radar contact on aircraft X when aircraft Y was getting close. I told aircraft Y about the general location of aircraft X. I anticipated losing radar contact with aircraft Y as well. He then canceled and went VFR the rest of the way.this is a very unsafe situation. Qxu radar site must be turned back on!
