Narrative:

25 mi northeast of dfw, air carrier X's beacon code XXX, at 8000', went into coast (CST) mode for several sweeps. Cp was in use on the radar to cut out some WX on the scope which cut out the primary return of the aircraft. This was caused by ARTS IIIA srap and ASR 8 nbe radar.

Narrative: 25 MI NE OF DFW, ACR X'S BEACON CODE XXX, AT 8000', WENT INTO COAST (CST) MODE FOR SEVERAL SWEEPS. CP WAS IN USE ON THE RADAR TO CUT OUT SOME WX ON THE SCOPE WHICH CUT OUT THE PRIMARY RETURN OF THE ACFT. THIS WAS CAUSED BY ARTS IIIA SRAP AND ASR 8 NBE RADAR.
