Passengers heard and felt the engines go to takeoff power and then having the power pulled back. Radio closeout deleted for flight XXXX your flight has received the ACARS message below due to a payload change requiring a new closeout or a return to gate. For questions contact central load planning agent assigned to flight. Your final west/B has been deleted and is in the process of being updated. Do not take off until you obtain a new final west/B. Plz acknowledge. End. ACARS messages going to aircraft during critical phases of flight that cause major distractions. Restrict these messages. It was sent 13 minutes after flight blocked out.
