Narrative:
On arrival at gate X in lih the agent pointed out a gap from the jetway to the aircraft that posed a problem especially for children deplaning. On departure the gap was apparent again. This has been reported by station personnel several times with no action taken. It appears the lines for parking the aircraft are too close to the gate for proper gate alignment. Someone will eventually get hurt by this.
