Air carrier X at FL230 swbnd whett direct rod was descended to 17000' per letter of agreement. Air carrier X was placed on 090 degree heading to avoid pointout to mie sector (ZID). Air carrier Y at FL210 vhp fwa dtw approximately 25 southwest of fwa when C/a activated with air carrier X. Air carrier X's mode C showed FL220. Controller keyed transmitter to level air carrier X at FL220. When radar updated mode C to show FL215, air carrier Y vectored on 360 degree heading as a result of air carrier X's updated mode C. Traffic called. Air carrier X told 'no delay' through FL200 and traffic issued. Air carrier Y reported traffic in sight.
