Narrative:

At around 60 knots we got an E2 a/ice fail caution. We promptly aborted and cleared the runway. A logbook entry was made and maintenance was notified. After a few checks of the system and the logbook entry cleared per maintenance we attempted the departure again. The exact same thing happened again. This time we gate returned. Thankfully a spare aircraft was brought over from the hangar and we continued on [after swapping aircraft].
