Narrative:

I accepted takeoff clearance from T-2 intersection on runway 32L at ord. I was certain I had used T-2 before and that it was authorized by company operations specifications. It was not there not enough time to recheck without delaying traffic. Takeoff was made with 8000' of runway, 15 degree flaps, full power at 158,000 pounds. Captain should not rely on memory.

Narrative: I ACCEPTED TKOF CLRNC FROM T-2 INTXN ON RWY 32L AT ORD. I WAS CERTAIN I HAD USED T-2 BEFORE AND THAT IT WAS AUTHORIZED BY COMPANY OPS SPECS. IT WAS NOT THERE NOT ENOUGH TIME TO RECHECK WITHOUT DELAYING TFC. TKOF WAS MADE WITH 8000' OF RWY, 15 DEG FLAPS, FULL POWER AT 158,000 LBS. CAPT SHOULD NOT RELY ON MEMORY.
