Narrative:

On climbout; just as I went back for my rest break; I was called back to the cockpit. The captain and first officer were running the checklist for engine oil pressure. Oil pressure on the left engine indicated zero accompanied with an amber 5.0 vibration. We were directed to and completed the engine failure or shutdown and secured the left engine. The first officer completed an uneventful single engine landing and came to a stop on the runway. Landing weight was 196;200 lbs. Arff equipment inspected the aircraft and followed us to the gate.
