Narrative:

I was flying. We were cleared to cross 10 west pvd at 11,000. The first officer read back, we're leaving FL240 for 10,000. We descended to 10,600 and were told to contact another bos center frequency. First officer announced 'with you descending to 10,000'. Center advised you are only cleared to 11,000 and issued new altimeter setting. Immediately leveled at 11,000, reset new altimeter setting which increased indicated altitude at 11,200. Thus the incursion was actually 200-300'.

Narrative: I WAS FLYING. WE WERE CLRED TO CROSS 10 W PVD AT 11,000. THE F/O READ BACK, WE'RE LEAVING FL240 FOR 10,000. WE DESCENDED TO 10,600 AND WERE TOLD TO CONTACT ANOTHER BOS CENTER FREQ. F/O ANNOUNCED 'WITH YOU DESCENDING TO 10,000'. CENTER ADVISED YOU ARE ONLY CLRED TO 11,000 AND ISSUED NEW ALTIMETER SETTING. IMMEDIATELY LEVELED AT 11,000, RESET NEW ALTIMETER SETTING WHICH INCREASED INDICATED ALT AT 11,200. THUS THE INCURSION WAS ACTUALLY 200-300'.
