Narrative:
At 4;700 feet on vectors to intercept ILS 9R at gru about 7 miles from the airport. We saw an object at 12 o'clock. I immediately turn the airplane to the right to miss the object. As we passed the object it appeared to be some sort of balloon. It was black in color; cylindrical in shape; approximately 20-30 ft tall and 5-10 ft wide. Hanging 10 to 20 ft the balloon by rope or cable was a metal structure about 5 ft square.
