Narrative:

After fueling aircraft I was taxiing out for departure and while south turning on the taxiway the left brake failed. I was in a right turn when the brake failed and there was a 6 foot embankment off the right side of the taxiway. I could not steer the airplane to the left due to the failure so I shut the engine down and went over the embankment. No engine or prop damage was sustained. However the bottom of the runner was damaged and the right wing tip was bent.
