Narrative:
While starting #2 engine, egt went above maximum temperature. Contributing factor: we are operating 12 aircraft and have 10 different cockpit configns. In one day we may start with one then go to a different model and then to another model. Several of our aircraft have different model engines on the same aircraft. Example: one of our aircraft has an X engine with a starting temperature of 420 and the other engine with a starting temperature of 550.
