Narrative:
The air carrier was descending to land at lynchburg from the southwest. I was trying to descend under en route traffic from the east. The carrier should have been started down earlier. I was performing non radar d-side functions when the radar operational error occurred.

Narrative: THE ACR WAS DSNDING TO LAND AT LYNCHBURG FROM THE SW. I WAS TRYING TO DSND UNDER ENRTE TFC FROM THE E. THE CARRIER SHOULD HAVE BEEN STARTED DOWN EARLIER. I WAS PERFORMING NON RADAR D-SIDE FUNCTIONS WHEN THE RADAR OPERROR OCCURRED.
