Narrative:

On initial climbout we received a master warning 14th stage duct message with the associated bleed air aural message. No anti-ice was on as the weather was VFR. We completed the QRH for the 14th stage duct message which directed us to bring the engine to idle and return to the nearest suitable airport. We declared an emergency with ATC and returned with crash/fire/rescue on standby. We landed without incident; taxied clear of the runway and confirmed with the flight attendant and the fire department that there were no indications preventing us from taxying to the gate. We proceeded to the gate and accomplished a normal deplaning of the passengers.
