Narrative:

Cleared for ILS 4. Did not have final approach fix tuned in (ADF). Trying to adjust ADF and fly had needle pegged. Then did not have missed approach in mind. Book dropped to floor. Spoke to tower and asked for radar vectors for another approach (as I did not know missed approach procedure).
