Narrative:

Taxing southbound on taxiway a at int; we had an MEL with one landing light inoperative and total darkness at the south side of the field. Just past taxiway B I could make out faded lines coming up about 10 yards past B. Due to the distance; I was expecting an ILS hold short. I looked around to keep an eye out for wildlife. At the same time; my copilot noticed the taxiway lines were actually a hold short. As I was reaffirming visually; he applied the brakes and we stopped just short. Update the commercial chart's plate to show a hotspot. Have signage showing hold short.
