Narrative:

Initially cleared for takeoff and while taxiing onto runway got the alert. Taxied clear and attempted to evaluate the alert but it had cleared. Communicated with tower our intentions and said we may need to return to line. On second attempt for takeoff after being unable to duplicate the issue; power was run up and takeoff roll begun. At 20 KTS alert returned and we rejected. [We] taxied clear and returned to line for maintenance to address intermittent problem. Brakes did not exceed 100 degrees. CSD needed 4-5 quarts oil.

Title: DC10 flight crew experiences a Gen Drive 2 Fault upon taking the runway and taxiing clear the fault disappears. On the next attempt the fault returns and the takeoff is rejected at 20 KTS and the crew returns to the line for maintenance. CSD was low on oil.
