Narrative:

I was working the local control west position and the weather was IFR and rainy. A B757 had just landed on runway 9 and was rolling out when the asde triggered and said to send the aircraft around. The runway was free of equipment and/or other aircraft and I did not send the aircraft around. In my judgment the aircraft was safer on the ground; the target that the detection equipment generated for the aircraft was behind the aircraft's position on the runway; which I feel is the contributing factor to the false go around.
