Narrative:

I was serving as the first officer (PNF) of an small transport being owned and operated by the corp. After landing at the wall street (downtown) heliport, we were directed to 'put it on the barge next to the other small transport.' the PF positioned the aircraft next to another small transport running at idle with flat pitch. Before we touched down I warned him on intercom that 'we're too close!' his response was, 'we're centered on the line.' he lowered collective pitch and rotor contact was made with the adjacent aircraft. Severe rotor damage occurred to both aircraft. There were no injuries to persons on the ground nor damage extending beyond the rotor systems of both aircraft. An emergency shutdown was executed by me and the rotor brake was applied by the PF at my direction. Supplemental information from acn 107612: notified that this morning 2 other helicopter's had on ground rotor blade contact. Same downtown helicopter.
