Narrative:
The first officer pulled out and checked his oxygen mask and found a wadded up dry cleaning cloth in the mouthpiece. I have found numerous masks with the hoses tucked into the mask such that it will not auto-inflate for single-handed donning. Pilots and maintenance need to be reminded that the head straps must not be tucked into the mask as they will not properly inflate. Also; ensure no debris is in the mask prior to stowing.
