Narrative:

We were being vectored by ZJX on leese five arrival at 12000' heading 120 degree when a light twin engine aircraft passed 600' off to the right going in the opposite direction at same altitude. We were being vectored around thunderstorm to our right. ZJX frequency was either 127.55 or 132.82. When ZJX was asked about a possible target we were given frequency change to mco approach control.
