Narrative:
During vector to cll by TRACON; the electrical power failed resulting in loss of all radio; navigation (GPS and VOR); heading system; and engine instruments. I remained VMC and climbed from 6;000 MSL (assigned) to 6;500 MSL for VFR flight to destination.I followed the route as given except to deviate west of course to remain clear of class B airspace. Upon landing I called FSS; dfw approach and houston TRACON to advise them of my landing. I did attempt cell phone calls but had no reception during the flight.
