Narrative:

Around 100 KTS on the takeoff roll I noticed the number one engine oil quantity at 40% and falling rapidly. As it approached 30% I rejected the takeoff. The runway was dry and clear and we successfully rejected with plenty of runway left as we taxied off the runway. We returned to the gate for maintenance. I rejected the takeoff for this event because I was not sure of being able to safely get airborne if the engine oil was rapidly depleted to zero.
