Narrative:

On climbout the aircraft hit what must have been wake turbulence as there was no weather in the area or rough rides reported. The aircraft was rolled 45 degrees left and pitched nose up as we approached our 7;000 ft climb clearance. The pilot flying disengaged the autopilot to regain control and we subsequently climbed to approximately 7;400 ft during recovery. The turbulence was reported to ATC but no mention of altitude was made.
