Narrative:

Upon landing at bwi, making an effort to clear the active runway (33L) as soon as possible, I turned off the landing runway on the first available exit which was a crossing runway (28) that was being used for departures. The tower controller didn't give instructions to roll through the crossing runways or where to exit. To correct the situation, turn off instructions should be given when other runways are being used for departures that cross the landing runway. Supplemental information from acn 102825: as we made our exit from 33L onto 28, an aircraft had moments earlier been cleared to takeoff and this occurred before we had cleared this intersection. The aircraft on 28 had their takeoff clearance cancelled.

Title: LNDG ACFT TURNED ONTO ACTIVE CROSSING RWY WITHOUT CLRNC. RWY WAS BEING USED FOR TKOFS. DEP ACFT HAD BEEN ISSUED TKOF CLRNC WHICH WAS CANCELLED.

Narrative: UPON LNDG AT BWI, MAKING AN EFFORT TO CLR THE ACTIVE RWY (33L) ASAP, I TURNED OFF THE LNDG RWY ON THE FIRST AVAILABLE EXIT WHICH WAS A XING RWY (28) THAT WAS BEING USED FOR DEPS. THE TWR CTLR DIDN'T GIVE INSTRUCTIONS TO ROLL THROUGH THE XING RWYS OR WHERE TO EXIT. TO CORRECT THE SITUATION, TURN OFF INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE GIVEN WHEN OTHER RWYS ARE BEING USED FOR DEPS THAT CROSS THE LNDG RWY. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 102825: AS WE MADE OUR EXIT FROM 33L ONTO 28, AN ACFT HAD MOMENTS EARLIER BEEN CLRED TO TKOF AND THIS OCCURRED BEFORE WE HAD CLRED THIS INTXN. THE ACFT ON 28 HAD THEIR TKOF CLRNC CANCELLED.
