Narrative:
Flying a 48 NM flight; I encountered 20 knot headwinds and had fuel exhaustion. I had to force land on a highway. Local travelers provided me with 4 gallons of 91 octane and I flew to my destination. There I filled the plane with 100LL and returned to my departure airport.
