Narrative:

Received clearance to pwrback. Captain signals guideman. Guideman receives 'all clear' signals from both wing walkers. Guideman signals the captain to come forward, immediately followed by the signal for pwrback. Rolling back in a straight line, and after about 15 yards or so the aircraft starts shaking; the right wingtip struck a catering truck. The truck drove off to safety, with part of the wing inside it, including navigation and anti-collision lights, associated electrical wiring and a fuel dump nozzle. No persons were hurt, and thank god, no fire. Everything took place according to standard operating procedures. Someone made an error. The guideman was still signaling 'pwrback' during the impact. The decision to arrest the rearward motion with forward thrust was the captain's.
