Narrative:

Crew was aware of displaced threshold of 2000' on runway 7L as per NOTAM. T/D was approximately 1000' down runway 25R, on speed. Normal braking and reversing techniques were used. I had planned to decelerate so as to turn off at taxiway N2. The end of the usable surface was marked only by a white line which from cockpit ht can only be seen at a short distance. Lighted markers mentioned by NOTAM were not on. The aircraft slowed to taxi speed just beyond N3. I was momentarily distracted by a veh on N2 and too late realized that I was upon the white line, and a normal stop could not be made prior to crossing the line. The NOTAM did not describe the displaced threshold in relation to usable txwys, nor did it mention that N2 or the north taxiway beyond N2 were closed.

Narrative: CREW WAS AWARE OF DISPLACED THRESHOLD OF 2000' ON RWY 7L AS PER NOTAM. T/D WAS APPROX 1000' DOWN RWY 25R, ON SPD. NORMAL BRAKING AND REVERSING TECHNIQUES WERE USED. I HAD PLANNED TO DECELERATE SO AS TO TURN OFF AT TXWY N2. THE END OF THE USABLE SURFACE WAS MARKED ONLY BY A WHITE LINE WHICH FROM COCKPIT HT CAN ONLY BE SEEN AT A SHORT DISTANCE. I WAS MOMENTARILY DISTRACTED BY A VEH ON N2 AND TOO LATE REALIZED THAT I WAS UPON THE WHITE LINE, AND A NORMAL STOP COULD NOT BE MADE PRIOR TO XING THE LINE. THE NOTAM DID NOT DESCRIBE THE DISPLACED THRESHOLD IN RELATION TO USABLE TXWYS, NOR DID IT MENTION THAT N2 OR THE N TXWY BEYOND N2 WERE CLOSED.
